Solutions Development Representative

The SDR utilizes provided information to contact potential customers regarding Liquid Web's products. SDRs use internal relationships to exceed customer expectations and provide support to the team, as well as identify multiple causes, effects, and customer solutions. In this role you will get to develop new business via outbound telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the LW solutions and identify appropriate buyers within the target market.

As an SDR you would:

  • Live up to the Liquid Web's Heroic Promise by conducting oneself in a manner consistent with the customer service expectations
  • Educate customers on full breadth of solutions offered by Liquid Web
  • Gain clear understanding of customer’s business requirements
  • Provide input into product and service development to improve products and services in line with customer needs
  • Meet quarterly revenue targets
  • Average 9 to 10 outbound calls an hour.
  • Demonstrate and actively promote an understanding and commitment to the mission of Liquid Web through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values
  • Researches market segments to identify potential customers and makes first contact
  • Prepare and analyze leads pipeline reports and dashboards
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospect’s pain points to determine how the Liquid Web solution will speak to those needs
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating interactions and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Identify key buying influencers within prospects to determine budget and timeline
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached utilizing the appropriate CRM (Salesforce, hubspot, etc.)

You Have:

  • 1+ years proven relevant experience, preferably in telemarketing and/or inside sales
  • Self-motivation and dedication, you must have a passion for selling and exceeding targets and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Lead generation expertise to include the ability to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of web hosting industry, RPM-based environments, basic networking concepts, compute and storage standards
  • Salesforce or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently provide HEROIC support
  • High energy and not easily discouraged
  • Customer centric mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable combination of education or relative experience
