Account Executive

At Liquid Web, we are more than just servers. As a Strategic Account Executive you will be working with the most Helpful Humans in Hosting to achieve your revenue goals by providing reliable, highly available, secure and hassle free hosting. 

This role is responsible for identifying and capturing revenue growth opportunities within an assigned customer account territory. 

As an Account Executive you would:

  • Establish and maintain current customer relationships utilizing Salesforce.com, Hubspot and other related systems
  • Educate customers on full breadth of solutions offered by Liquid Web
  • Gain clear understanding of customer’s business requirements and growth goals and how they align with our product offerings 
  • Build and maintain research on current customers relating to how each customer is organized hierarchically, brands, channels, and key relationships
  • Successfully manage and close consultative sales cycles
  • Prepare client facing presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Accurately document customer interactions in Liquid Web’s CRM system
  • Maintain an up to date opportunity pipeline in Liquid Web’s CRM system
  • Drive customer interactions to uncover, qualify and close project opportunities within the customer’s organization
  • Leverage marketing collateral to substantiate our brand and solution message
  • Work with the Solution Architect team to present solutions that align with Liquid Web’s organizational capabilities and future scalability
  • Conduct introductory meetings to deliver performance metrics and intelligence in pipeline forecasting, product and support feedback to corresponding internal teams 

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a quota bearing role, customer service or account management 
  • Competitive, self starter motivated by achieving success goals
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present and credibly influence key decision makers and internal stakeholders 
  • Experience in mapping solutions to business needs and objectives 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sales cycles at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Salesforce or equivalent experience
  • Phone and in-person professional “presence”
  • Proficient in Opportunity Qualification
  • Experience executing a consultative Sales approach with clients
  • Technology Savvy - Quickly develop a core understanding of hardware platforms, cloud computing and emerging web-hosting/web-application technologies
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable combination of education or relative experience
