Inventory Processor

The Inventory Processor is in charge of facilitating the preparation of computer/networking hardware to fulfill customer orders. This person will assist in tracking stock levels to ensure that we have appropriate inventory to meet customer needs.

This is NOT a remote position.

As a Purchasing Agent you would:

  • Prepare hardware to fulfill customer orders while ensuring accuracy and timelines
  • Update and maintain inventory system through daily use and with regular counts
  • Maintain the organization of the inventory cage
  • Ensure availability of needed hardware, both items and server builds, and manage inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that all information is appropriately documented on customer accounts
  • Review the departmental processes constantly with an eye for improvements
  • Manage departmental queues to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with hardware reclamation and testing
  • Provide inventory to system restoration team as needed to minimize downtime for customers
  • Assist internal teams with various hardware related tasks
  • Communicate with various departments as inventory needs arise
  • Sort inventory into appropriate locations for use and/or testing
  • Work interdepartmentally to ensure inventory levels and best use of hardware
  • Assist in gathering and packaging server hardware for shipping

You Have:

  • 1+ years of computer hardware knowledge
  • An general knowledge of networking devices 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills across all levels
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • A basic understanding of computer hardware functionality/use
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
