Enterprise Engineer

Enterprise Engineers work with our Enterprise customers to develop and support the tools they need to help them grow.

As an Enterprise Engineer you would:

  • Provide exceptional support to our customers through various mediums
  • Install, configure, update and troubleshoot LAMP stack, wordpress, cPanel and various other applications that may be requested by the customer
  • Demonstrate the ability to diagnose complex customer application issues and provide quick and accurate solutions within a collaborative environment
  • Troubleshoot and support internally developed engineering products
  • Mentor your peers
  • Keep apprised of pertinent current technological developments in order to be able to better stay on top of potential server issues
  • Write and update wiki's with pertinent information to help keep resources current and accurate
  • Train and shadow new technicians
  • Lead and develop new engineered products based on customer demand
  • Create and maintain employee training and documentation to support engineered products
  • Prepare and present subject matter training to small groups or one-on-one
  • Full cycle creation of Linux managed enterprise products and services
  • Plan and perform maintenance of internal Enterprise systems
  • Provide customer product updates and refactoring

You Have:

  • 1+ year Linux Enterpise Technician experience
  • Experience supporting customers in a Help Desk environment.     
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Advanced LAMP stack proficiency
  • Advanced BASH scripting knowledge
  • Understanding of high availability concepts
  • Proficiency with OCFS2, SAN, LVM, iSCSI
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Ability to coordinate people, projects, events and resources with a sense of urgency
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Strong self initiative and time management skills
  • Highly adaptable with an ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed
  • Ability to present in a professional manner and appearance
  • RHCSA or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable combination of education or relative experience

  • Scripting/coding knowledge with Perl and/or an equivalent language
