Associate Product Manager

The Associate Product Manager will work under the supervision of a Product Manager or Product Leader to improve existing products’ marketing campaigns or onboard / develop new products fit for the company.

Additionally, some of the basic duties include competitor analysis, developing strategies to promote a product; helping to identify the target audience of a product; and monitoring the success of the implemented product strategies. The person in this role would also assist with market research, coordinating feedback from customers and internal groups (Sales, Support, etc.) and other product-specific information gathering that will give the Product Team valuable information from which to modify current products, onboard new products, and promote the core product line.

As an Associate Product Manager you would:

  • Onboard and/or develop new products for existing product lines
  • Participate in the Sales Enablement process
  • Prepare Market and Product Requirements documents
  • Review and report on performance indicators     
  • Act as a mentor within the organization by sharing product-related knowledge and information
  • Collect and manage customer feedback
  • Monitor and report success of products
  • Identify current and future market opportunities
  • Help define the product roadmap
  • Review and undertake market and competitor review; assist with competitive analysis in regards to the competition, new products, and emerging technologies/software
  • Work with other departments to assist with various tasks that will improve our product offerings in terms of performance, quality, and usability
  • Manage product discontinuations including updating cart products, coordinating updates to the website, and communicating with affected departments
  • Maintain documentation of current product and service offerings
  • Understand the key statistics associated with products including revenue, profitability, usage, and customer satisfaction and drive utilization to make product lifecycle decisions

You Have:

  • 2+ years web hosting industry or similar experience
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to effectively multi-task
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent in analytical, logical and mathematical skills; experience with Power BI a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product lifecycle stages
  • Strong technical background, with experience and understanding of servers, storage, networking, security, and web hosting
  • Excellent teamwork skills, the ability and desire to work on cross-departmental projects
  • Strong ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and knowledge levels
  • Problem analysis / problem solving skills                
  • Self-starter with high degree of initiative, professional maturity, and strong organizational skills
  • Associate's degree in a related field, or comparable combination of education or relative experience
