Network Operations Manager

The  Network Operations Manager is in charge of making sure his/her department is accomplishing objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating departmental activities, and implementing improvements where possible.

As a Network Operations Manager you would:

  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance
  • Identify and lead strategic network improvements and efficiencies
  • Develop, execute, and measure against goals and performance indicators for the department
  • Constantly strive to streamline and increase efficiency the department
  • Manage departmental budget
  • Work with other teams, managers, and executives to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency
  • Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle for the department
  • Monitor and maintain network stability, collect and analyzes network and memory utilization, and install and test software upgrades
  • Establishes strong relationships with service providers
  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance
  • Act as the primary point of conflict resolution
  • Act as the technical/administrative escalation point
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and administration of several LANS's and WAN's

You Have:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • 6+ years relevant experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills  
  • Proven professional experience in the networking field
  • Ability to produce and maintain well written internal documentation
  • Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written
  • CCNA Certification or equivalent
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable combination of education or relative experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNP
