Enterprise Account Executive

Account Executives are responsible for Heroic Solutions and Support of our most valued customers..  The qualified candidate for this position will have a sales oriented background with a technical grasp in the cloud and web hosting space, the ability to build lasting and trusting relationships with customers, partners and internal support personnel, and position and “sell” products and services.  This role will be responsible for the the long-term growth and success of our customers through a deep understanding of their business needs, their products and services with Liquid Web, and providing Heroic Support at every turn.

 

Account Executives will be assigned a set customer list and will be connecting with key decision makers and stakeholders at client locations. This role devises pivotal strategies in order to develop strong relationships with clients, spots business opportunities, up-sells / cross sells where applicable, and presents professional solutions for clients.
 

Working as an Enterprise Account Executive you would:

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Heroic Solutions™ according to customer needs and objectives by working with supporting teams
  • Forecast and track key account metrics to deliver meaningful account and technology reviews on a quarterly schedule
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure attainment of rapid growth accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Gain clear understanding of customer’s business requirements
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with Enterprise Customers, and rapid growth customers
  • Lead and participate in account review process creation and improvement
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external decision makers and stakeholders
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Manage high revenue and high risk accounts
  • Meet monthly revenue targets
  • Contribute to campaign and product discussions in order to make sure offerings are relevant to Enterprise customers
  • Show an ability to manage more difficult customer situations and scenarios effectively
  • Work with supporting staff to develop complex proposals and assist EAM I with the same as needed
  • Travel required: 5%

You Have:

  • 5+ years proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Sales and service background
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of web hosting industry, RPM-based environments, basic networking concepts, compute and storage standards
  • Functional knowledge of the LAMP stack
  • Functional knowledge of the WAMP/WIMP stacks
  • Sales Force or equivalent experience
  • Phone and in-person professional “presence”
  • Have advanced understanding of Sales and Retention techniques and strategies
  • Proficiency in Opportunity Qualification
  • Complete understanding of products and services offered by Liquid Web
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable combination of education or relative experience
