Software Developer

The Software Developer designs robust, scalable, secure, and globalized feature. Individuals in this role should demonstrate sound rationale in making design trade-offs, identifying risks and mitigation, and managing dependencies for various feature areas.

As a Software Developer you would:

  • Translate functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs
  • Provide estimates for development effort
  • Implement proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software
  • Create unit and acceptance tests
  • Assist Operations and Support staff in troubleshooting software issues, as well as implementing bug fixes
  • Develop own technical leadership skill by providing mentorship to others
  • Maintain a collaborative working relationship with others by seeking, using, and giving feedback
  • Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
  • Make regular contributions to test automation
  • Evolve with new ideas to realize greater benefits or to solve newly anticipated problems
  • Focus on multiple feature areas or components
  • Consistently contribute to key functionalities for our product and service offering

You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, engineering, testing, or a related field
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals gained through training, coursework, or relevant experience              
  • Advanced knowledge in multiple technologies relevant to current activities in the business unit
  • Advanced working knowledge of most technologies relevant to our core business
  • A demonstrated systematic structured problem solving approach
  • The ability to generalize a specific problem and derive solution for a class of problem
  • The ability to derive causal relationship from ambiguous data
