Software Development Engineer

The Software Development Engineer is responsible for developing information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

As a Software Development Engineer you would:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Mentor others on skills at which you excel
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Be responsible for programming activities related to new development and maintenance of existing applications
  • Build/develop new tools for performing testing/validation function
  • Execute and analyze automation test results
  • Work in a collaborative environment to build new products and features in our existing products
  • Constantly work to improve knowledge about the systems and technologies that we use
  • Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Support production deployment of applications and perform “validation testing"

You Have:

  • Proven ability in a software development role
  • Experience finding and fixing software bugs in existing code
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills
  • Intermediate experience with SQL and noSQL databases
  • Intermediate knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of at least two programming languages
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Intermediate understanding of linux systems
  • A passion for improving software/systems
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Related discipline or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • Experience developing or maintaining a quote-to-cash system
